I met this person on a dating site. 50 y.o., engineering degree, widowed, one daughter, no living relatives. The first time I spoke with him, he told me that his daughter is having her 19th birthday on April 11th, and she wants a laptop and an iPhone for birthday presents. She is leaving to go to school in England in 2 weeks. He then asked if I would like to give his daughter either an iPhone or a laptop. He was upset when I said I don't know him or his daughter well enough to be giving such an expensive present. He said that would be my way of showing him that I trust him. The next day, he was asking for a $3,000.00 loan to finish his contract job. I denied both of his requests and yet, the third time we spoke, he asked me to buy him a PayPower card at WalMart and send him the PIN right away. I refused to do what he asked and he got angry with me. I didn't even know what PayPower card was until I researched it. I quickly ended contact with this person.
